Life With Lorelai is one-month old today!
It’s been quite a month of trying to learn the ins-and-outs of blogging (and I am in no way an expert yet), but I am pleased with the progress my little blog has made. I am most happy with the people I have met through Life With Lorelai; it has been nice getting to know you all, and I look forward to an ongoing relationship.
I have learned how important social media is to a blog. I’ve become fairly adept with the WordPress editor, stuck my toes into the icy waters of HTML coding, conquered hyperlinks, and added media. There is still so much to learn, and so many ideas bursting to be tried.
I would like to just step back and take a look at how far Life With Lorelai has come this month. As of right now, we have had:

Wonderful! Congrats Lorelai! =)
I having fun! Thanks 🙂
I am so impressed you have conquered WordPress. I continue to struggle each day. What did you do to get up to speed so quickly?
Social Media is key. I joined a couple of blogging groups on facebook, signed up for Twitter, PInterest, and Bloglovin’. I signed on to blogging challenges with NaBloPoMo, SITSgirls, and the Ultimate Blog Challenge (you can find their links in my sidebar).
All of these factors have brought in readers, which have led to followers! Thanks everyone. 🙂
Way too go on your first month of blogging!!! Hope the next month is even better!
Onward and Upward, right?! Thanks 🙂
Congratulations!! It only gets better from here. That’s some amazing stats for a month can you imagine what it will be in 6? Now where’s the drink? 🙂
Thanks, Amanda and Madison! I thought the stats were pretty thrilling for one month, and I’m excited to see what will happen in six months. I think after the crazy, busy, stressful day I’ve had, celebrating my bloggy 1-mo. b-day with a Cadillac Margarita sounds GREAT! 😀
Congratulations! I remember when I first started blogging and people were subscribing. It is a wonderful feeling and I hope you are soaking in every moment of it. Love the rose photo btw.
Soak, soak, soak! You’re right it is an awesome feeling to actually see results from your blog. The rose is a Neptune rose bush that I bought for Luke for our first Christmas…it smells AMAZING!
I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself, and I think I’ve learned a few things from you in comments. I’ll have to check out some of the sites you recommend. Thanks!
Blogging is liberating! And I am enjoying myself thoroughly. Glad to have helped you along the way. 🙂
Keep blogging Lorelai. You’re doing great. I’ve found that once you learn the tricks of blogging, it becomes addictive. I love the pix of the rose, you can almost smell the perfume.
That rose has an amazing and beautiful scent! I think I’ve already discovered just how addicting blogging can be. LOL
Congratulations on your 1-month blog anniversary!! My 3-month is on 7/15 and I feel like I’m still learning something new every single day. The blogger community is wonderful and so supportive. I wish you nothing but continued success!

Congratulations! I am about to celebrate my second month of blogging! I started in May and then switched my site to wordpress a month ago. I love reading about your adventures! Keep up the great blogging!
Thanks, Jenna! I like WordPress…do you like it better than where you were? Good luck with your half-marathon training!
Congratulations Lorelai! Thanks for sharing your success with us and keep up your enchanting blogs!
Thank you, Deb! And I’m glad you find my blog enchanting…(one of my all-time favorite words…enchanting). 🙂
Hey…that’s what I call progress indeed! High fives to all you’ve accomplished in a month!
You go woman.
I was happy with the progress too, Blaze. Go, go, go! I am still having trouble getting to your blog… 🙁
Thanks for stopping by here. 🙂
Thanks for the attempt! Ahhh…technology.
Congratulations Lorelai – you’ve done a fantastic job 🙂 There is always another challenge with blogging – so keep at it!
Bring on the challenge! Well, actually I have an idea I am working on now that is proving to be a huge challenge, but I am determined to figure it out. Keep an eye on upcoming posts… I will be sure to mark the one I speak of as HARD!!!!! Have a nice day. 🙂
Congratulations on your one month blogging anniversary! You’re doing great!
Thanks, Elaine… I am having a blast writing the blog! 🙂
It starts like that and then it just continues.. I started my project365 the same way. Started by the month measure.. Congratulations
Project 365… wow, that’s commitment! Good luck with that, and thanks.
I know what you mean. When I first began blogging, all I ever got was spam. Since I started putting my blog all over FB, LinkedIn, google+, and twitter, I’m getting lots of comments, and drawing in great clients!
I really was shocked at how quickly the blog started growing with social media. It put a smile on my face! 🙂
I love your commitment. I sometimes find it hard to stick to the well- meaning commitments I make. I’m inspired 🙂
Sometimes life gets in the way, but you just push a little harder the next day… Hang in there, Jeffy! 🙂
Lorelai, Awesome job! I started about 6 months and it is a commitment, but it is VERY rewarding to see things begin to move forward. Sounds like you are off to and incredible start. Good Luck! 🙂 and keep up the good work!
Thanks, Jeff. It is a commitment, but I’m loving it. Good luck with your blog. 🙂
Fantastic! Happy Blog-a-versary! Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I have had a huge response to my blog within the past two days and am now over 1,024 views… I’m in SHOCK! 🙂
Congrats! It’s a fun feeling to not only know you’ve got a blog going, but that you’ve got readers that come back and visit regularly! Keep up the great work!
Absolutely true! The interaction with the readers of my blog is one of my favorite parts about blogging. I’m glad you are enjoying my little slice of the blogoshpere. 🙂
Thank you, Patti! 🙂
