Haha! So true! Love that caption.
I had a nice, relaxed weekend filled with blog reading and comment making. Some very interesting posts out there. I also made time to play with the kids, watch a family movie, BBQ, and redesign my living room.
Hope you had a great weekend, Lorelai!
We had a very relaxing weekend. Sounds like yours was very productive! We BBQ’d also… π
I had a friend come to stay I hadn’t seen for a while – it was cheese and bikkies with a nice red in front of the open fire followed by some yummy mouse raspberry chocolate π
Ooh…raspberry chocolate mousse…YUM! Those are two of my favorite flavors. It’s nice to catch up with old friends. π
This is exactly what I was grumbling o my way to work today π π
LOL… It really is the perfect end-of-the-weekend quotation! Hope you’re work week feels short. π
Saturday my husband and I celebrated our 4th anniversary (although the actual day is later this week). It was so nice- we were able to spend the whole day and part of the evening together, sans the kids! Sunday was LAZY. I don’t even think I stepped foot outside the entire day, and it was NICE.
Congrats on your 4th Anniversary! Some times lazy days can be the best. π
love the quote! mine was quite busy. county fair and headed to MOA today! hope you had a great one!
Sounds like an exciting weekend and upcoming day for you. Enjoy! My weekend was much quieter, but very nice and relaxing. π
My weekend was full of laughing kids, splashing in the new pool, working on my blog, and chatting with my husband, who has been working for two straight weeks without a break until Sunday. π It was a wonderful weekend. π

Awesome weekend, Heather! My weekend was hauling Rory to a few places and basically hanging out with Luke…it was quiet and lovely, just the kind of weekend we needed this week. π
My weekend was spent on the couch feeding my insatiable baby – I think we’ve hit her 6 week growth spurt. Hoping I can leave the house sometime in the next week π
Oh yes, newborns… I had to feed Rory every hour for the first few months because she would not gain weight. I remember those tired times. Leaving the house was not an option for us, so I can relate. Hang in there, it does get better, and that little bundle of joy is well worth it all… HUGS! π
I don’t know about you but I never grew up in a home or lived in a home where the lady wore heels around (and she has nylons on as well) all day to cook and clean. This does make me giggle and being Monday, I always need a few giggles. π
Hahaha…you are right, Ann! My mom never wore heels around the house, of course, she never went barefoot either. She loved her little slippers. π
Thanks for stopping by my blog LAST WEEK… I’m only getting back to you today! Had a great weekend, thanks for asking! Following you now everywhere… in a good way, not a weird stalker way. You going to BlogHer?
Love the quote! That is so true, luckily I have Monday’s off so I get one extra day.
Oooh…that kind of talk could be dangerous in some circles… LOL. Enjoy your 3-day weekends! π
Well, you know how mine was LOL But you’ve got some great convo going on here! Wohoo!
