TGIF – It’s Been A Rough Week
You know it’s been a rough week when Monday was the best day of said week. Tuesday was by far the worst–my suburban was broken into. I was the lucky one according to the police. Apparently, there was a rash of automotive break-ins Monday night. I was the only one who did not actually have anything stolen out of a victimized vehicle (probably because I don’t keep anything valuable in it). I had a huge mess to clean up, but there was no actual damage to my truck. Even so, it is amazing just how violated you feel when something like this happens to you, especially when it happens overnight in your own driveway. Rory and I have been pretty shaken.
Needless to say, my brain has been elsewhere and coming up with a creative blog post that required a lot of time and effort was just not happening this week. So, I settled in with a glass of wine and had a bit of fun on Pinterest. I thought I’d share a few Friday Funnies with you in hopes these put a smile on your face. Enjoy!

These are all so funny and I love it! Our home was burglarized about 13 years ago, those scars last a long time. It does make you feel so violated! Sorry that happened to you and glad you don’t keep any valuables in your car!

Oh no! That is so annoying & so invasive. Luckily you didn’t have anything worse, but it’s never easy cleaning that up. Hope you have a better weekend… I just got back from vacation, so I’m still trying to get back to reality…

Ouch! Glad no valuables were taken. I’m helping my daughter and son-in-law move this weekend. They recently sold their home and bought a historical home built in the 1800’s. I’m going to enjoy helping my daughter decorate.

My goodness! I’m glad nothing was taken, but still – that’s really scary! Maybe a security camera outside might help you feel better? (My dad has a couple – they’re pretty low-cost these days!) My week? Not so great, either. Lots of stress at the full-time job. Lots of tears on my drives home LOL But next week? IT WILL BE BETTER!!! 🙂
