A scrumptious cookie recipe that is good all year round, but particularly lends itself to the winter holidays since the cookie looks like a tiny snowball.

Type: Dessert
Serves: 3-6 dozen
Ingredients:
1 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
1-3/4 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Nuts (finely chopped walnuts or pecans)
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
1/4 teaspoon Salt
Additional Powdered Sugar for rolling after baking.
Directions:
Use slighty softened Butter. Add Powdered Sugar and Vanilla
Whisk until smooth and creamy
Add Flour, Salt, and Nuts, mix until well blended
Roll Dough between the palms of your hands to make small balls
Place Dough Balls on UNGREASED cookie sheet
Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes, until lightly golden
Let cookies cool on sheet for 1-2 minutes
Drop individual cookies into the additional Powdered Sugar and roll around to coat.
Place cookie onto Wax Paper
When all cookies from the baking sheet are coated, go back and coat a second time with Powdered Sugar
Notes
This recipe yields 3-6 dozen cookies depending on how large or small you roll you dough balls.
I bake my cookies for 10 minutes to start and add a minute at a time if needed.
