The Year in Review

Before I unveil the Top 10 List of posts written during 2015, I want to give you just a brief update to close out the year. 2015 brought a lot of changes not only to my life, but to the blog as well. Surviving the struggles has made Rory and I even stronger and happier. In these difficult times, we found courage, tenacity, and a new family that embraced us with open hearts and arms. Luke is a rock and a Godsend, and we are enjoying building our new life together as a family.

As for the blog, Life With Lorelai grew by leaps and bounds. Here are a few of the highlights:

LWL is now earning money. I have thoroughly enjoyed taking on sponsored posts, and working with different brands and networks to bring you fabulous recipes, DIY projects, and more. I look forward to continuing those relationships in the New Year, and engaging new alliances along the way.

We’ve connected with other bloggers in the form of Regular Contributors and Guest Posters. This has been especially fun to share with you.

The Home Matters Linky Party is thriving! The weekly link-up grew from a high of 82 links to a record high of 699 links. If you haven’t had the chance to stop by and check it out, please do–the Door Opens every Friday. You will find a wide variety of fun and inspiration concerning all things Home Matters. Will we break the illusive 700 link mark in 2016?

March rolled in with the largest thunder and lightening storm we have seen in Huntington Beach, California in years! It was absolutely pouring down rain–a much needed drenching for this drought plagued state. But then, the MOST AMAZING thing happened… we had a huge hail storm! It was like a white Christmas on the beach! Check out this video…

Happy New Year!

Noblesse November 2014 Is Here

I don’t know about you, but to me the month of November has always felt like such a noble month. With crisp fresh air and the crunch of the leaves beneath your feet, November boasts rich beautiful colors, flavors, and aromas bringing all your senses to life. It is a month of gratitude for family and friends, all culminating in a holiday of thankfulness, and leading into the Advent of Christmas. The splendor of November can be enjoyed indoors and out. I hope you love and enjoy your Noblesse November 2014, as much as I do.

31 Posts In 31 Days… Challenge Met!

It’s been quite a month!

31 Posts in 31 Days for a new blogger was a real challenge, but one in which I am glad I participated. I have learned so much over this past month: how to use different design and format for my blog; the importance of social media; how to play with photos using text, cartoon bubbles, or make collages; what a link party or blog hop is; and so much more.

However, I would have to say the best part about this challenge has been meeting so many new friends and finding a plethora of fabulous blogs to read.
