Good Morning, America! It’s Flag Day. Go outside and fly your flag! Be proud, and remember what this country truly stands for beneath the modern self-puffery of the politicians. Thank you, Betsy Ross, for a beautiful, powerful, and emotion evoking symbol for our country.

“Our flag is our national ensign, pure and simple, behold it!
Listen to it!  Every star has a tongue, every stripe is articulate.”
— Robert C. Winthrop (1809-1894), Senator from Massachusetts

I found a couple of other pictures to spur your patriotism, one of which is a vintage 1917 poster for Flag Day. Enjoy.

God Bless America!
